52 BLESSINGS JANUARY 09
The challenge: Every Sunday scrap a layout that reflects God's blessings in my life. That's one a week. Starts 4th Jan along with other members of FSUK.
Here are my 1st 2 weeks' pictures. It was hard to know where to start as there are so many things God blesses my life with. I decided to go for Chloe because her illness was very much a big part of the Christmas period. I used a picture I like for week 2 and given it's so cold thought it could help me convey the message of how grateful I am for the luxuries we are able to enjoy in this century - despite the credit crunch and all the horrible stuff that modern day life brings with it.

Week 1: Chloe's medication has halved.
Week 2: enjoying modern comforts like heating and jeans!

SCRAPBOOKING MY FAITH
This year I am determined to do more layouts that reflect my faith and relationship with God. I hope the challenges on Faith Scrappers UK will be the inspiration I need! Watch this space!

LO based on 'God's Love Letter' as seen here: http://www.fathersloveletter.com/text.html

"Snow Joy" 2nd Feb 09 - "Lightning and hail, snow and storm clouds, fulfilling His word"
A prayer written by Jane Austen. I bought this when I went to Bath in 2003. It has lovely sincere sentiments and I wanted to do something lasting with it. Unfortunately, my siamese cat had the same idea. See the destruction on the top? That was her attempt to eat it!

This layout contains a prophecy given to me by a good friend many years ago. I have since handwritten it. I added some text from The Waterbabies because the prophecy refers to my work with the young people of the local church. I have added some hidden journaling on the back of the LO.

This LO shows the lyrics to a song by an '80s Christian group called Trade Secret. The song is all about how God is always here. It doesn't matter how we are. He just wants us to come to Him and surrender.

MY LIFE IN LISTS
A way to reflect on life and do some mini scrapping at the same time! You can follow the website suggestions (see links) or, like me, do your own lists. It's great fun and very inspirational and takes as much or as little time as you like! See my current LOs - they'll be updated every so often.
